# WB4JFI Test Page 0 ## Some SDR Hardware that I currently have (Dec 08): 1. Tony Parks SoftRocks (several types) 2. David Brainerd QSD and other boards http://wb6dhw.com/ 3. HPSDR Atlas/Janus/Ozy boardset http://www.hpsdr.org/ 4. HPSDR Atlas/Mercury/Penelope boardset http://www.hpsdr.org/ 5. RFSpace SDR-IQ receiver http://www.rfspace.com/SDR-IQ.html 6. SDR-1000 3-board set loaned from WB3KDU http://www.flex-radio.com/ 7. 12-bit A/D of local design working with a Digilent Nexys2 FPGA demo board http://sdrtrack.drupalcafe.com ## Some SDR Software that I have used: 1. Windows - Rocky http://www.dxatlas.com/Rocky/ 2. Windows - PowerSDR http://www.flex-radio.com/ 3. Windows - WinRad http://www.winrad.org/ 4. Windows - M0KGK http://www.m0kgk.co.uk/sdr/index.php 5. Windows - G8JCF http://www.g8jcf.dyndns.org/g8jcfsdr/ 6. Windows - SDRadio http://www.sdradio.eu/sdradio/ 7. Windows - SpectraVue (for SDR-IQ) http://www.moetronix.com/spectravue.htm 8. Both - LinRad http://www.sm5bsz.com/linuxdsp/linrad.htm 9. Linux - sdr-shell http://ewpereira.info/sdr-shell/ 10. Linux - John Melton Java https://java-sdr.dev.java.net/ 11. Linux - GNURadio http://www.gnu.org/software/gnuradio/ 11. Linux - my own work-in-progress 12. Both - DttSP (sdr dsp core) The Charleston SDR group is working on a few special projects: Hardware: A lower-cost Direct Down-Conversion (DDC) receiver using a Digilent Nexsys II demo FPGA board, along with a plug-in board that uses a 12-bitm 80Ms/s A/D converter and a VGA. Details to follow. Software: A Linux-based SDR software package. This is being written in QT/C++ in the Eclipse development GUI. There is not guarantee that this project will ever see the light of day, but we are learning a LOT about SDR software, and interfacing to the DttSP sdr-core. DttSP is used in many SDR software packages, including PowerSDR, sdr-shell, etc. Links to some of this hardware & software will show up shortly. Terry
