A successful launch this morning at 11:15am.
Anyone interested in listening to the Shuttle might like to know that the
air-ground communications are re-transmitted on 147.450MHz out of Greenbelt MD
at about 300-400 watts.
The Shuttle communications are also re-broadcast on a handful of amateur HF
bands, again, out of Goddard/Greenbelt, at about 1kW per transmitter. For a
