Dual Gate Mosfets

Yep, if you can find the 40673, they're about $7. Dan's Small Parts and
kits (where I buy most parts) indicates the 40822 (for $5.00) is a
suitable replacement. The 3N211's are $6.50.

The surface mount replacement is the BF998 and is allegedly better than
the 40673. They are 5/$4.00...a pretty good deal. Some wag is selling
little surface mount boards that allow the BF998 to be used in "old
style" construction.

I've ended up just making my own diode ring mixers

Good luck!
