- Linux - my own work-in-progress
- Both - DttSP (sdr dsp core)
The Charleston SDR group is working on a few special projects:
Hardware: A lower-cost Direct Down-Conversion (DDC) receiver using a Digilent Nexsys II demo FPGA board, along with a plug-in board that uses a 12-bitm 80Ms/s A/D converter and a VGA. Details to follow.
Software: A Linux-based SDR software package. This is being written in QT/C++ in the Eclipse development GUI. There is not guarantee that this project will ever see the light of day, but we are learning a LOT about SDR software, and interfacing to the DttSP sdr-core. DttSP is used in many SDR software packages, including PowerSDR, sdr-shell, etc.
Links to some of this hardware & software will show up shortly. Terry
